« If we could give this place six stars we would-amazing! Stunning upstairs apartment in a beautifully restored medieval house in a great location. The pictures don’t do it justice! Daniel met us in town and helped us to find a free car park for the night then took us to our room, carrying one of our bags as he went. Genuinely helpful but respectful of our privacy. The whole experience was top class, would love to stay again. Soon! »

“I will never forget the image of being greeted by Daniel and his black cat under the gas lights of his magical neighborhood. The caladrius bird must have flown into our room because we were cured of our every worry. They should seriously teach a hospitality class. I was speechless for once as I looked out the window onto the roofs of Sarlat. They have such an amazing eye. The bed and pillows were so comfortable and I could tell that they paid attention to the littlest of details. I took a shower and walked out saying « That shower was incredible »! They left us food, wine, and coffee that we ate on antique plates! The building and the decor are incredible but we wouldn’t have been nearly as happy here had they not been so kind and so unexpectedly helpful. ”
